About the Mustang Trot

Our Goal is to raise $20,000!!!


WHY DO THE MUSTANG TROT?

The MRS PTA has been able to fund many educational opportunities for our students through the funds raised such as:  field trips, assemblies, artist-in-residence programs, bookmark awards, classroom supplies, books to the library, and much more. 100% of the funds raised will be used for MRS students, staff, and campus.  
In order to fund these necessary items we need one successful fundraiser.

 

WHAT DO WE DO?

  • Collect donations from people who want to sponsor your child for their participation in the event by making a 100% tax-deductible donation to Monterey Road School PTA (receipts in this envelope.)
  • We are looking for flat donations such as $5, $20, etc. and are not accepting pledges per lap.

 

WHEN WILL WE KNOW IF WE HAVE ACHIEVED OUR GOAL?  

The final total will be announced Friday, October 20th.  Please turn in donations on the following dates: Thursday Sept 28th, Thursday Oct 5th and Thursday Oct 12th. This will allow us plenty of time to count monies and announce our running total on Fridays for Find Out Friday!!

 

WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO KNOW ABOUT THIS FUNDRAISER?  

  • The students will have a designated area to walk, run or TROT on October 13th.
  • We want your child to be safe while they are asking for donations so please don’t let them go door to door without an adult or enter a stranger’s house. 
  • Every $25 earns your child one ticket for a prize drawing.  


Thank you for making the Mustang Trot a success.  The students appreciate your support.
